Jim Godbout Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is very diverse when it comes to heating, we install just about everything you can imagine. Radiant heating is our specialty using constant circulation with VIESSMANN weather responsive controls. This is the most comfortable heat on the market today. Radiant Heating is also much more efficient than conventional heating systems because it uses lower boiler temperatures. This technology has been around for quite some time, but few people really understand the advantages.

Why is radiant heat more comfortable? 
Because radiant heat is like the sun’s heat. It travels through the air until it finds an object. Most conventional systems rely on convective heating, which relies on heating the air and creating natural convection. Have you ever crawled into a bed that seemed rather chilly under the covers? That’s what happens with convective heating – the air is warm, not the surrounding objects.
